Jim Blanton is a Real Estate Broker who provides community knowledge, real expertise, and a genuine caring for each of his clients. Jim graduated in 1972 from Kansas State University with a degree in Economics and has served the Manhattan/Ft. Riley area as a Realtor since 1974.

   Jim established his own company in 1977 and has numerous credentials as a Realtor. He has continually maintained his membership in the Manhattan Association of Realtors, Kansas Association of Realtors and National Association of Realtors. He has served as President of the Manhattan Association of Realtors as well as Chairman of the Grievance, Professional Standards, and the Education Committees. Jim Blanton has been honored with the status of Realtor Emeritus by the National Association of Realtors, 2015. The award is voted on by the National Association of Realtors and is given to a Realtor who has been in the industry for more than 40 years, has served on committees, has been an officer and director of the association, and is involved in many civic activities. 

   Jim is a member of the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, a Corporate Member of the Association of the United States Army, and a Life Member of the Kansas State University Alumni Association. He has also served as President of the Tatarrax Homeowners Association. He is the past committee member of the United Way and an active member of the Optimist Club which sponsors activities for local youth and Boys & Girls Clubs of Manhattan. Jim knows the people and the community he lives in and serves.
