Larry Kastanek was born and raised in rural Nebraska. He graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Agriculture Education. Larry served in the United States Army as a Field Artillery Officer and AH-1G Cobra Helicopter Aviator and Instructor Pilot. He served three years with the Army Reserach Institute and is a Vietnam Veteran as well.

    After retiring from the Army, Larry began his career in Real Estate in 1991. He has a GRI designation and is also a member of the Manhattan Association of Realtors, Kansas Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. He also has been married for 47 years and is a father, and grandfather.
